Youth Mission Camp

Each summer, both Jr. High and Sr. High youth groups take part in a week of mission. The Sr. High typically travels within the eastern United States, and specializes in manual labor as well as evangelical mission work. Currently, our Sr. High has attended mission trips in New Orleans (Hurricane Katrina clean up), Diamondhead, MS (Hurricane Katrina clean up), Gatlinburg, TN (assisting the Deaf and renovating a Deaf Community Center), and Atlanta, GA (running a VBS for urban children living in poverty stricken areas).

The Jr. High typically stays within the FL/GA area. FUEL has assisted the following organizations in their mission work: Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital, Hosanna House of Jacksonville, Jacksonville Down Syndrome Association, and the Brunswick are downtown clean up mission.

Our focus is to provide our youth a full mission experience from Jr. High to Sr. High. It is our goal to eventually provide the opportunity for our Sr. High youth to travel overseas, and our ongoing focus to fulfill the Great Commission in all areas of mission work. For more information on upcoming youth mission opportunities, please contact the church office or email Mike Horst.
